The night before her tea party we had a slumber party at Kelli's house. It was my mom, Kelli, Tammi, Suzi, myself, Britt, Jessi, Desi & Brayden. Uncle Roger was there of course. He was our taste tester. He said everything was grrrreat!! One memory I am sure we will all take away from this is Suzi and how much she helped us. We love you sis. Brayden got sick and threw up all in his car seat so she spent her night taking care of him and washing up his car seat. We on the other hand all cooked. It was lots of fun. Tammi is a wonderful cook and great when it comes to kids in the kitchen. I get a little more nervous but with her help it was lots of fun. We made scones from scratch. They were to die for delicious!! They were white chocolate cranberry. Yummy! Tammi made her special chicken salad. Kelli made some almond tortes. I made a coconut lemon sugar cookie. We also had veggie trays and crackers w/cheese. My mom blessed us by buying a lot of the ingredients for all this cooking. We also made a egg casserole for breakfast the next morning.
As most of you know, I am the baby girl. So at most events I have just not really done any help as far as cooking an cleaning b/c my big sisters and parents took care of it. Well I decided that I was going to be the first one up and get the coffee going and start the casserole for everyone. I am NOT a morning person at all. We got to bed around 2:30 and I got up at 5:45 so that I could get it all started before everyone got up. I was so proud of myself for getting up.
I love my family with all my heart and we all have special talents. When we all get together to work on something we all work as one team.
So Happy Birthday to Brittany and Thank you to all who came and helped me celebrate my eldest turning 13.
